The Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday said they have arrested six sevadars (volunteers), including two women, of the organising committee in connection with the Hathras stampede that killed 121 people.
Ujala Thakur, the main accused in connection with the assault of national level Kabaddi player Sneha 'Dolly' Singh was arrested on Wednesday.
The police said the actual cause is yet to be ascertained as there were inconsistencies in the statement given by the woman and the man.
